About Us

The Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) is partnering with the Nonprofit Voter Engagement Network to develop and implement LAVotes, a new statewide voter engagement program.

LANO is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization with over 1,000 members, and branch offices across the state. Our mission is to strengthen, promote and build the capacity of Louisiana’s nonprofit sector through education, advocacy and member services.

LAVotes educates nonprofits about their ability to integrate voter engagement into their everyday activities and support and encourage voter engagement efforts throughout the state with relevant, timely information and resources.
